Microneedling

Microneedling is a cosmetic procedure that involves using a device with fine needles to create tiny punctures in the epidermis and dermis of the skin. This process is also known as collagen induction therapy. The micro-injuries created by the needles stimulate the body's natural wound healing process, leading to increased collagen and elastin production.

Here are some key points about microneedling treatment:

1. Benefits: Microneedling can improve the appearance of acne scars, stretch marks, fine lines, wrinkles, and uneven skin tone. It can also enhance the overall texture and firmness of the skin.

2. Procedure: During the treatment, a numbing cream may be applied to the skin to minimize discomfort. The provider will then use a microneedling device to create controlled micro-injuries on the skin. The depth of the needles can be adjusted based on the specific skin concerns being addressed.

3. Recovery: After the procedure, the skin may appear red and slightly swollen, similar to a mild sunburn. Some people may experience mild peeling or flaking in the days following the treatment. It is important to follow post-care instructions provided by your skincare professional.

4. Results: Results from microneedling are typically gradual and may become more noticeable over several weeks as the skin's natural collagen production increases. Most people require multiple treatment sessions to achieve the desired results.

Erbium YAG Laser

Erbium laser resurfacing is a type of laser skin resurfacing procedure that uses a laser specifically designed to target the superficial layers of the skin. This procedure is commonly used to treat various skin conditions and concerns, such as fine lines and wrinkles, acne scars, sun damage, age spots, and uneven skin tone.

During erbium laser resurfacing, the laser emits a high-energy light beam that is absorbed by the water in the skin cells. This energy heats and vaporizes the targets skin cells, removing the top layers of the skin and stimulating the production of new collagen fibers. As the skin heals, it appears smoother, tighter, and more youthful.
